Job Description:

Support Worker position at Club Aruma providing compassionate personal care and empowering individuals with disabilities to live their best lives with dignity and respect. The role focuses on creating joyful experiences, fostering meaningful relationships, and building inclusive communities through shared interests and activities.

Job Responsibility:

Create joyful experiences and foster meaningful relationships for people with disabilities
Connect people through shared hobbies and passions
Facilitate engaging activities like art sessions, sports games, or group outings
Help people explore their communities and participate in events
Cultivate an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere
Celebrate milestones and support people in achieving their goals
Collaborate with team to design vibrant, interest-focused programs
Support participants in their home with daily living skills

Requirements:

Experience in supporting people with disabilities
Eager to learn
Ability to create relationships and foster inclusion
First Aid/CPR Certificate or ready to obtain
NDIS Worker Screening Check or ready to obtain
Working with Children Check or ready to obtain
Valid driver's license
Insured car to support people on their adventures

Nice to have:

Experience in supporting people with disabilities
Background in community services
Passion for connecting people through shared interests
