Support Worker role providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities and complex care needs, championing human rights and ensuring people receive support aligned with their unique needs and aspirations.
Job Responsibility:
Advocate for rights, dignity and equality of adults, young people and children
Implement and review tailored support plans
Manage complex behaviours and understand PBSPs
Build strong relationships with clients, families and community stakeholders
Promote inclusion and independence
Requirements:
2 years' experience supporting participants with complex care needs
NDISWC clearance
Working with Vulnerable people clearance
Working with Children clearance
First Aid & CPR certification
NDIS Orientation Module
Nice to have:
Excellent communication skills with focus on listening and responding to customer needs
Team player enthusiastic about collaboration and sharing best practices
