Job Description:

Aruma is seeking passionate support workers to join their team and make a positive impact on young people's lives. This role focuses on providing mentorship, emotional support, and opportunities for growth for children and young individuals.

Job Responsibility:

Build meaningful connections with youth through mentorship and guidance
develop and implement engaging programs that foster personal growth
provide emotional support and a listening ear
collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
utilise your personal experience to inspire and connect with young individuals
support and encourage children and young people with Dual Diagnosis including Trauma based behaviour

Requirements:

Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent, or working towards
hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements
passionate about human rights and creating positive change
empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences
excellent communication skills
enthusiastic team player
availability for 24/7 rotating roster including weekends & sleepover shifts
