Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Technician for the Aviation Maintenance Support, supporting the All-Domain Defense Division. located at Ft. Benning, GA. Astrion has worked extensively with the U.S. Army Aviation Brigade where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for coordination, monitoring, and providing supply support
shall analyze all bench stock, prescribed load list, and shop stock
provide recommended revision of stock level in support.
Manages the inventory, ordering, and recycling of all parts and material requirements, with oversight, develops “save list”, and demilitarization actions.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment: Aircraft areas, workshops, and other industrial settings.
Physical Requirements: Sit or stand for long periods of time.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED
Minimum of one (1) year of related experience with documented training (either with the Contractor or by validation of qualifying factors to include documented prior military supply experience and training)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience with GCCS-A and the Aircraft Notebook (ACN) desired
Nice to have:
Must climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
Must operate manual tools and power tools
