Job Description:

Lead and develop strategic sourcing initiatives for a dynamic global medical device company. Join a collaborative and supportive team and make a real impact on the supply chain. Remote work twice a week.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and develop strategic sourcing initiatives for a dynamic global medical device company
Support multiple indirect categories/projects across various sites within a region
Collaborate with diverse functions like Marketing, IT, R&D, Quality Assurance, HR, Facility Management, and Manufacturing
Partner with regional and global category management teams
Ensure successful implementation of strategies and drive compliance with preferred suppliers and purchasing channels
Continuously improve costs, quality, and service levels for local deliverables in multiple categories
Lead the implementation of global and regional category strategies and projects
Manage daily spend at local sites
Create purchase orders based on preferred suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
Drive compliance with preferred suppliers and purchasing channels to achieve savings targets
Identify and implement savings initiatives specific to site requirements
Manage supplier relationships at the local level, cooperating with regional and global procurement teams
Resolve escalations from internal stakeholders regarding material supply and quality issues

Requirements:

Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within a manufacturing environment
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving supply chain challenges
Proficiency in relevant procurement software and systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
