Job Description:

Lead and develop a dynamic supply chain for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Japan. Our client is a well-established global pharmaceutical company committed to delivering high-quality medications. They value collaboration and innovation and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Specialist to join their team.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and develop a dynamic supply chain for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Japan
Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement to distribution
Build strong relationships with suppliers
Optimize production planning and ensure efficient logistics
Improve processes, implement new technologies, and lead projects to enhance supply chain performance
Lead strategic supplier partnerships and negotiations
Develop and manage budgets for supply chain activities
Establish efficient production planning and inventory management processes
Grow and optimize logistics plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
Lead projects to improve supply chain technologies and processes
Manage and mitigate supply chain risks
Develop and implement new supply chain processes for new products
Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience in a production site environment
Proven experience leading mid-sized projects
Expert knowledge of SAP MM and PP modules
Strong experience in production planning and scheduling
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis
Fluent in Japanese and English
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
