Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Supply Chain Management Specialist in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, within the machinery manufacturing industry. As a Supply Chain Management Specialist, you will be tasked with managing supplier accounts, negotiating with suppliers, and optimizing costs, among other duties.

Job Responsibility:

Administer supplier accounts, ensuring smooth operations and interactions
Conduct supplier negotiations for the best possible terms and conditions
Implement strategies for cost optimization in the supply chain
Collaborate with stakeholders for planning and executing supply chain strategies
Manage procurement processes, adhering to company policies and industry best practices
Monitor and manage risk in the supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulations
Maintain regular reporting on supply chain activities and performance
Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, if required
Manage finance and pricing aspects in the supply chain
Coordinate with HR for administration related to supply chain activities
Maintain interpersonal communication with vendors and suppliers
Ensure specification adherence in the supply chain processes

Requirements:

Demonstrated proficiency in Supply Chain Management
Experience in Cost Optimization and Optimization strategies
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Proficiency in Management and Leadership
Proficient in Reporting and Planning
Knowledge of Compliance and Company Policies
Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
Knowledge of Finance and Pricing strategies
Ability to Implement Strategies effectively
Experience working with Vendors and Suppliers
Strong Negotiation skills
Proficiency in Procurement processes
Ability to work with various Stakeholders
Experience in Collaboration and team work
Knowledge of Best Practices in the machinery manufacturing industry
