Job Description:

This is a 3.5-year Degree Apprenticeship program designed to develop future leaders across The Sofa Delivery Company's supply chain. Apprentices will gain a 360-degree understanding of our logistics network through rotations in large-scale distribution centres and central support functions. You will work on strategic projects that support business innovation and complete a BSc (Hons) degree in Supply Chain Management at Sheffield Hallam University.

  • Collaborate with Operations Manager (T&T) to provide real-time information on production priorities, material supply and (on/behind target output data)
  • Process Engineering Change Orders, Custom Bill of Materials (BoM) releases and new product introductions into existing production plans
  • Provide accurate, timely and concise feedback to keep key stakeholders appraised of forecasting and delivery performance
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of manufacturing data accuracy
  • Maintenance of planning procedures and best practice to ensure continuity of supply (safety stock, MoH targets), production and delivery in areas of responsibility
