Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on Supervisor, Facilities & Infrastructure to lead the maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of our facility, grounds, and critical infrastructure. This role is responsible for overseeing preventive maintenance programs, supervising facilities staff, coordinating contractors, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, ISO, and FDA requirements. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a passion for operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the daily maintenance, repair, and appearance of all facility, grounds, and equipment
  • Lead and schedule the Facilities team to support manufacturing, engineering, and administrative operations
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs and the facilities project request system
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, upgrades, and service agreements
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and hazardous waste regulations (including ISO 14001)
  • Support quality system requirements (FDA, ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and participate in change control and material review boards
  • Identify process bottlenecks and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support team development
  • Provide input on capital projects and staffing needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, water systems, and preventive maintenance programs
  • Proven leadership and project coordination experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk up to 80% of the workday
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to identify electronic color codes
  • Frequent driving required
  • Must be committed to safety and compliance
