Job Description:

Citi is seeking Summer Analysts for its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in Sydney. This 10-week internship offers comprehensive training in capital markets, exposure to live deals, and networking opportunities. The internship aligns candidates for future full-time roles in the Equity Capital Markets team. Responsibilities include financial analysis, client materials, and understanding equity pricing mechanisms.

Job Responsibility:

Compile, analyse, and assimilate financial information
Research market moving events and relevant live deals, to prepare client-ready presentation materials to update on the capital markets
Become familiar with ECM products and play a fundamental role in deal preparation and execution
Understand the market factors and parameters for pricing an equity offering in the real world
Work hard, be proactive, and contribute to the team in a dynamic and stimulating work environment.

Requirements:

You are in your penultimate or final year of university pursuing a degree in any discipline
Have strong numerical and analytical skills, with basic knowledge in finance and accounting
Have adaptability and resilience to work in a high-pressure environment, with the capacity to multi-task
Have intellectual curiosity and proactive eagerness to learn
Possess strong attention to detail with commitment to accurate and high-quality work product
Are a team player with excellent communication skills
Have competent PowerPoint and Excel skills
Are passionate about capital markets.
