• Deliver lesson resources and activities effectively to ensure students remain on task and make progress
• Communicate clear instructions and "Independent Learning" tasks set by absent teachers
• Use a variety of resources (books, equipment, and digital tools) to promote active learning
• Maintain high standards of classroom management, organisation, and health and safety
• Provide supervision in Internal Exclusion, upholding policy while encouraging a productive work ethic
• Work closely with the Inclusion Team to support students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
• Act as a mentor for KS4 students who are potential underachievers, helping them reach their academic goals
• Manage after-school sanctions and maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour via BROMCOM
• Act as a point of contact for parents/carers regarding student successes or areas for improvement
• Facilitate a uniform approach to work delivery using the internal network (M Drive)
• Accompany and supervise students on educational off-site visits, ensuring all safety requirements are met
• Collaborate with the Study Supervisor team and assist in the induction of new staff
• Support the Inclusion team with classroom tasks when cover requirements are light
