Study Skills Tutor

• Provide high-quality, one-to-one academic support to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD)
• develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs
• guide students in developing independence, building on strengths, and improving learning strategies
• assist students in enhancing organisation, time management, and research skills
• support students in improving comprehension, reading, and writing skills
• ensure all concerns are addressed promptly and professionally, maintaining confidentiality at all times
• collaborate with Randstad to ensure the best possible service for students
• offer both in-person and online sessions flexibly

• Membership with the British Dyslexia Association (BDA), Association of Dyslexia (ADSHE), Dyslexia Guild, or the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS)
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• experience working with clients with specific learning difficulties
• punctual and reliable
• strong organisational skills
• ability to manage a diverse caseload of students
• ability to identify and support students to build on their learning strengths while maintaining a confidential and professional relationship
