Job Description:

The Student Casework Team draws together a range of duties, including student complaints, appeals, applications for consideration of mitigating circumstances, student discipline, and administration related to cases of alleged academic misconduct. This is a good opportunity for someone to join the Student Casework Team and learn different skills at an expanding local university.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Student Casework Manager with administration relating to claims for mitigating circumstances and dissertation extension requests
  • Manage the University’s processes for handling alleged academic misconduct by students
  • Arrange and act as Secretary for small committee meetings throughout the academic year
  • Deal with confidential and sensitive issues and information
  • Assist the wider Registry Services department during busy key periods such as examination weeks, Welcome Weekend, and Graduation Ceremonies

Requirements:

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365
  • Willing to learn how to use corporate IT systems
