Help build on recent successes in Citi Commodity index space to make Citi a leading player through developing cutting-edge systematic investment strategies using Commodity futures and options, proposing sophisticated analyses on indices, improving platform resilience, and helping originate business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Development of commodity investment strategies and products
  • Enhance robustness and efficiency of index platform
  • Backtesting and in-depth analysis of investment ideas
  • Working with various departments to turn ideas into products which can be sold and traded
  • Proposing sophisticated analyses on existing and new indices to improve their marketability
  • Helping to originate business through pitching ideas to sales and clients

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in commodity index development
  • Experience of structuring and executing complex index trades
  • Highly quantitative and analytical
  • In-depth programming skills and experience of using a wide variety of analysis tools to perform complex modelling
  • Knowledge and understanding of commodity markets
  • Quantitative / technical degree (maths, physics, computer science) from a top-tier university
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
