The Structure Lead is responsible for leading the structural design and engineering of airport terminal buildings, ensuring safety, efficiency, constructability, and compliance with aviation and structural standards across all design stages.
Job Responsibility:
Lead structural design for airport terminal buildings from concept to IFC stage
Perform and review structural analysis and design calculations for RCC & steel structures
Ensure compliance with IS Codes, international standards, and airport authority guidelines
Design complex terminal structures including long-span roofs, steel trusses, space frames
Coordinate with architectural, MEP, BIM, geotechnical, and airport planning teams
Review and finalize structural drawings, specifications, and design reports
Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and authority submissions
Address design coordination comments during interdisciplinary reviews
Lead and mentor the structural design team and reviewers
Maintain quality, safety, and timely delivery of all structural design outputs
Requirements:
Minimum 15 years overall experience in structural design
Minimum 5 years of experience in Airport Projects/Terminal Building
Design consultancy background only (no site / execution roles)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer (preferred)
Strong expertise in airport terminal structural systems
Experience with long-span, steel-intensive, and seismic design
Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP2000, MIDAS
Experience in BIM-based structural design coordination (Revit preferred)
Strong leadership, coordination, and technical decision-making skills
Only candidates with Design Engineering experience for AIRPORT Projects will be considered
