Job Description:

Gain hands-on experience working in an office environment. Work side-by-side with Primera’s team of electrical and civil engineering experts. Be mentored by experts in your field to enhance your current classroom curriculum. Work on all types of projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply standard engineering practices and techniques to prepare sketches, technical comparisons, and calculations for reinforced concrete beam and slab design
  • Perform plan and detail drafting using CAD software
  • Assist with field surveys
  • Assist in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for private and public work projects

Requirements:

  • Studying civil engineering with a focus on structural
  • Enrolled in an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree program
  • At least a Junior or more advanced in curriculum
  • Completed a surveying course
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Proficient with business and engineering applications
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD
  • Prior internship experience is a plus

Nice to have:

Knowledge of RISA 3D and Revit
