Job Description:

The applicant shall be able to work as part of a project team and perform structural analysis and design calculations (including gravity, lateral, and connections), coordinate with other engineering and drafting professionals to help prepare drawing sets, and assist senior engineers in laying out structural systems, preparing specifications, and researching design options and code issues. The applicant will also be required to obtain Special Inspection certifications (ICC and ACI) and assist with structural inspections of building structures during construction. Special Inspection work includes reviewing in the field the structural construction work to ensure that it conforms with the provisions of contracts, plans, specifications, regulations and standard methods of work. Candidate must be able to keep detailed records of work completed and materials used; prepare and submit routine inspection reports as directed; and perform other related duties as assigned.
