Job Description:

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, helping to shape the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities. The position provides an opportunity to excel in a growing, high impact, customer focused role, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing differentiated customer service
  • Anticipating customer needs
  • Maintaining eye contact and offering help
  • Accurately performing cashier duties
  • Handling cash, checks and credit card transactions
  • Restocking shelves
  • Checking in vendors
  • Updating pricing information
  • Completing inventory management tasks
  • Supporting opening and closing store activities
  • Providing customer support to all departments
  • Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed
  • Embracing new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Physical requirements: remaining upright on feet for sustained periods
  • lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally
  • close visual acuity
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service setting preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
