Storage Sales Specialists are responsible for leading pursuits in their assigned territory, driving campaigns, and collaborating with Account Generalists to provide storage expertise in sales. The role focuses on large enterprise accounts in the Northeast Territory and includes responsibilities in pipeline management, prospecting, negotiating, and delivering storage solutions. The candidate will also work with channel partners and HPE teams to ensure customer success.
Job Responsibility:
Sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory
Seeks out new opportunities through prospecting, networking and events
Develops pursuit plans and manages storage sales pipeline
Coordinates supporting sales activities through account managers, Presales, channel partners
Collaborates across HPE teams for account planning
Negotiates deals to expand opportunities and revenue
Drives sales of Storage portfolio
Leads and coordinates marketing campaigns
Acts as a trusted storage solutions consultant
Reinforces HPE's strategy and uncovers new business opportunities
Uses references to craft understandable technology stories
Generates customer interest and links financial benefits with technology offerings.
Requirements:
Proven ability to communicate technical and business value of HPE solutions to stakeholders at all levels
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with customers
Self-motivated and able to adapt in dynamic environments
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise or commercial sales
History of exceeding sales quotas and performance targets
Expertise in working within an indirect channel sales model
In-depth competitive knowledge of at least one major storage vendor
Understanding of IT datacenter market dynamics including trends and emerging technologies
Extensive experience selling data lifecycle management solutions including block and file storage, backup, ransomware protection
Ability to collaborate and engage cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
