Reporting to the Director of Restaurant & Bar - Greater China, and a dotted reporting line to the Director of digital platform and products, the responsibilities of this role include setting implementation plan, collaborating with other project leaders in order to further support hotel in communications, system setup, establishing service procedure, upholding brand standards and ensuring all projects are launched on time and executed successfully.
Job Responsibility:
Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables
Managing the day-to-day activities, continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting Marriott standards, and meeting deadlines
Execution as well as documenting the project's progress, dependencies, issues and risks
Documenting the project's status
Drafting new and improving existing project management policies and processes
Conducting project training webinars
Collaborating inter-company and other vendor partners
Reporting regularly to the Greater China Operations team (VP Ops, GC SDFB and Regional Director of Operations), other tasks include revenue analysis and project status updates
Define projects plan and breakdown into phases with feasible timeline and approach
Delegate tasks on the projects to associates best positioned to complete them
Make effective decisions or escalate to project leaders when presented with risks and dependencies
Serve as a point of contact for all disciplines on the projects
Communicate with project leaders to keep the project goal is aligned
Perform quality control on the project throughout implementation to maintain the standard/timeline expected
Adjust schedules and targets as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in related field
2-3 years of experience in hospitality industrial, F&B operations (prior service experience in a restaurant or Bar)
Good presentation skill
Familiar with Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program and has experience with project management
Good understanding of Microsoft Office software, Excellent communication skills and the ability explain findings and status accurately
Clear understanding & experience of how a digital product is implemented to hotels
An ability to assess delivery risks and understand high level of effort for stories/tasks
An ability to document and communicate in both English and Mandarin Chinese
Well organized and able to work under pressure
Self-motivated team player that works well with counterparts from various functions/departments and can influence the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability
Ability to influence without authority, collaborating with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to get things done. Proficient interpersonal skills, personable yet persistent
Ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions
