Job Description:

The Steward is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Steward ensures the cleanliness of Food & Beverage cutlery, plates, and glassware. We are looking for an individual who poses an affinity for guest service! The Steward supports our Food and Beverage outlets in providing award-winning service through attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness. This role is part of the Stewarding and Food and Beverage department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Clean and sanitize chine, glass, and silver using a dish machine
  • Maintaining the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
  • Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
  • Maintaining the silver polishing program
  • Utilizing and handling cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner
  • Run the day-to-day operation of assigned station in the kitchen
  • Maintain cleanliness of back of the house Food & Beverage areas, including silverware, cutlery, glassware, etc
  • Maintain a good working relationship with other employees. Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area
  • Always conduct oneself in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
  • Follow all guidelines for timely food service to guests
  • Have knowledge of Four Seasons Food Standards

Requirements:

  • Solid personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform to Four Seasons Standards and learn the Sequence of Service
