The Steward is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Steward ensures the cleanliness of Food & Beverage cutlery, plates, and glassware. We are looking for an individual who poses an affinity for guest service! The Steward supports our Food and Beverage outlets in providing award-winning service through attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness. This role is part of the Stewarding and Food and Beverage department.
Job Responsibility:
Clean and sanitize chine, glass, and silver using a dish machine
Maintaining the sanitation of all major kitchen equipment, culinary and food and beverage facilities
Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
Maintaining the silver polishing program
Utilizing and handling cleaning supplies and chemicals in a safe manner
Run the day-to-day operation of assigned station in the kitchen
Maintain cleanliness of back of the house Food & Beverage areas, including silverware, cutlery, glassware, etc
Maintain a good working relationship with other employees. Ensure a clean, neat, and organized work area
Always conduct oneself in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
Follow all guidelines for timely food service to guests
Have knowledge of Four Seasons Food Standards
Requirements:
Solid personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform to Four Seasons Standards and learn the Sequence of Service
