Requirements

1-3 years of proven experience as a steel stud framer in commercial construction
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
Strong understanding of framing techniques, materials, and construction practices
Proficient in the use of framing tools such as screw guns, chop saws, levels, and laser layout tools
OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and work on ladders or scaffolding for extended periods
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as required

Job Responsibility

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and framing requirements
Measure, cut, and install steel studs, track, and framing materials according to design specs
Install blocking, backing, and bracing to support drywall and other finishes
Construct interior and exterior wall systems, ceilings, bulkheads, and soffits
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Ensure all work complies with building codes, project specifications, and safety regulations
Collaborate with other trades and team members to maintain job site coordination
Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store tools and materials
Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, fall protection, and hazard awareness
