The Stationary Operations Engineer is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all stationary equipment within our facility, ensuring its optimal operation and safety. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the machinery, routine check-ups, troubleshooting, and efficient repair methods.
Job Responsibility:
Maintenance and Operation of boilers, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, chillers, pumps, control systems, air handlers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, VAV's, VFD's
Routine Inspections
Troubleshooting
Documentation using CMMS system
Compliance with regulations
Collaboration with other teams

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8+ years of facilities maintenance experience
DC 3rd Steam Engineer License / Stationary Engineer's license
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain & maintain HSPD & Secret clearance
Familiarity with the operations, maintenance, and repair of boilers, HVAC systems, refrigeration units
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Knowledge of building mechanical and electrical equipment functions and use, HVAC systems control applications
Physical abilities: lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, work at various heights up to 60 feet, climb ladders, walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead
Possess good vision, ability to see in color, ability to hear and communicate in English
