This opportunity is with a global specialty chemicals company with a strong presence in the hydrocarbon and industrial specialty chemical sectors. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and grow a sales team within a dynamic and expanding organization. You will play a crucial role in achieving ambitious sales targets and building strong relationships with key clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and lead a team of 2-3 sales executives and technical sales representatives
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet annual targets and expand the customer base
  • Oversee the selection and onboarding of distributors across the state
  • Establish and maintain effective systems and processes at distributor locations to drive daily business operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, B2B customers, and fuel forecourt owners
  • Drive weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in collaboration with distributors and their teams
  • Identify and acquire new B2B customers through active prospecting and channel development
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing plans and brand promotion events within the assigned territory

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree with an MBA in Sales and Marketing
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the fuel forecourt, lubricant, or automotive industries
  • Strong understanding of the assigned state's geography and have worked in the same area for at least 2-3 years
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams
  • Proficient in developing and executing strategic sales plans
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, results-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
