Job Description:

As a Starbucks Barista at Delta Hotels by Marriott, you will be responsible for preparing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, assisting guests, and following company standards to deliver a seamless experience. This is an onsite, part-time position located in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada.

Job Responsibility:

Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools
cleaning and maintaining equipment and areas
preparing food and beverages according to standards
welcoming and assisting guests as per company standards
counting cash and preparing cashier reports
maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets
developing and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues
adhering to quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to use a cash register system
ability to process orders in MICROS system
ability to prepare food and coffee beverages
ability to work standing for extended periods
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds
ability to perform duties requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
ability to move through narrow spaces
adherence to safety and security policies
willingness to maintain professional appearance
communication skills using clear and professional language
ability to follow company standards
