Job Description:

The Starbucks Barista role involves preparing food and coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean work environment. This position requires adherence to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibility:

Complete opening and closing duties
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas and necessary supplies
Input orders into cash register system and collect payment
Prepare food and beverages, including using appliances correctly
Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment
Handle cash and cashier reports
Follow safety and company policies
Provide high-quality customer service and welcome guests
Inspect tools and equipment to identify defects
Assist individuals with disabilities
Perform other job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, and reaching
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Adherence to safety and company policies
Clean and professional personal appearance
