Job Description:

Join a dynamic editorial team to make a significant impact in a professional newsroom and advance your career with one of the most esteemed digital media teams.

Job Responsibility:

Identifying compelling stories and generating diverse content ideas for Secret NYC, as well as for our commercial partners in these cities and Original events
Crafting engaging, accurate, and informative articles efficiently
Ensuring all site copy and headlines adhere to editorial guidelines and our style guide
Collaborating on an editorial calendar that balances news, reviews, and city-centric content, ranging from trending stories to planned campaigns
Creating SEO-friendly posts (SEO training will be provided)
Assisting in promotional efforts and collaborating with our Social Media Networking team under manager guidance
Using analytics to refine your content strategy and make adjustments as necessary

Requirements:

Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English is essential
Demonstrated experience in digital writing
A keen understanding of what makes stories shareable on social platforms
Proficiency with social and digital publishing tools
A methodical approach to efficiently managing your beat
A strong connection to the city's lifestyle, food, entertainment, and art scene, demonstrating a deep understanding of its cultural nuances
