Job Description:

Secret Media Network is a fast-growing digital media group dedicated to discovering the best plans, hidden gems, and trending news across cities around the world. SMN is looking for a skilled writer with a sharp editorial sense to cover film news, reviews, events, and pop culture across the U.S.

Job Responsibility:

Cover tv, film, and cinema-related news, film festivals, reviews, and entertainment stories relevant to our U.S. audiences
Write clear, engaging, and accurate articles that align with our brand voice and editorial standards
Develop and manage an editorial calendar balancing news, features, and film-focused content across the U.S.
Create SEO-friendly content
Create content for social media around tv, film, and general cinema interests
Monitor performance using analytics and refine strategy
Participate in campaign planning and content promotion under editor's guidance.

Requirements:

Has native-level English and fluent or bilingual Spanish
Has experience in digital journalism, especially in cinema or entertainment
Understands film and pop culture trends in the U.S.
Is social media savvy
Knows what makes content viral and highly shareable on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter
Is organized, self-motivated, and confident with digital publishing tools
Thrives in a fast-paced editorial environment and enjoys collaboration.
