Job Description:

Staff Product Designer role on the Growth team at Checkr, working on customer acquisition, conversion, and customer satisfaction through a product-led growth strategy. The role involves designing growth systems, experiments, and features while championing user-centered design for SMB customers.

Job Responsibility:

Embed with Growth team and help define roadmap/vision
Own design work for funnel optimization, NUX, and personalization for guided flows
Leverage AI to create personalized customer experiences
Design growth systems, experiments, and new product features
Champion designs that deliver seamless experience for SMB users
Facilitate workshops to develop winning ideas
Distill complex information into simple user experiences
Build relationships with interdisciplinary teams
Participate in UX research and apply insights to designs

Requirements:

Portfolio showcasing high-quality work with direct impact on project success
7+ years of professional design experience
4+ years on Growth teams or in ecommerce/merchandising
Experience with onboarding & merchandising surfaces
Comfortable with iterative experimentation like A/B testing
Ability to conduct UX research and testing independently
Experience in fast-paced environments
Understanding of user psychology and behavior
Deep understanding of best practices and contemporary design patterns

Nice to have:

Experience with behavioral science
Experience with B2B companies focusing on SMBs
