Job Responsibility:
Help manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Oversee pharmacy during bench shifts without overlap

Assume Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as primary pharmacist
Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Direct pharmacy team to follow workflow procedures
Contribute to positive patient experiences
Demonstrate compassionate care
Collaborate with patient's total healthcare team
Resolve insurance and medication issues
Deliver immunizations
Support Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory
Follow inventory best practices
Protect cold chain products
Ensure pharmacy operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Write pharmacy schedule if directed
Maintain clinical and technical skills
Complete required trainings and CMEs
Support pharmacist delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services
Comply with all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
Requirements:
Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy
Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
Notice and understand patients' reactions and respond appropriately
Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues

Ability to use math to solve problems
