Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design, estimation, justification, and execution of capital projects
  • Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams to drive results
  • Investigate and resolve plant operational concerns
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of safety, quality, processes, productivity, and efficiency
  • Spearhead operational optimization through planned equipment maintenance and facility improvements
  • Timely troubleshooting of manufacturing systems
  • Direct the installation of new equipment and automation enhancements and provide training for plant personnel
  • Monitor outside contractors to ensure compliance with all company standards including safety, quality, and cost control
  • Support maintenance team leaders and provide engineering assistance as needed
  • Provide utilities management expertise to ensure energy efficiency, environmental prioritization and compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in plant engineering, specifically project management within a manufacturing, production, or military environment
