We are currently looking for a skilled Staff App Engineer (m/f/d) – App&Web to support us in building the fastest & most intuitive shopping app using a brand-new tech stack onsite in Hamburg! The Shop Applications Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by over 11M active users every month. The team’s focus is to provide our customers the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience. They constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” in customer-facing products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain our high-quality mobile application for iOS and Android using Flutter
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and set coding standards for the team
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Testers, and other teams (Backend and Web) in a cross-stack environment
  • Introduce new technologies, tools, or processes that improve developer productivity and product quality
  • Debug performance and reliability issues across the stack

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of programming experience
  • At least a year of app development
  • Expert-level knowledge of Dart and Flutter
  • Experienced with CI/CD (e.g., fastlane, GitHub Actions)
  • Experienced with unit and golden tests
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization and profiling
  • Strong ownership, self-drive, and leadership skills
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Nice to have:

  • Mobile native experience (iOS and/or Android)
  • Mobile automated testing
  • Experience with gRPC, Firebase, and monitoring tools like Sentry or DataDog
