The role involves supporting properties and technology objectives, implementing and monitoring systems, managing IT resources, ensuring compliance, and working with various stakeholders to support business needs. It includes managing internet support, backups, inventory, and disaster recovery planning, as well as developing team members and building relationships with partners.
Job Responsibility:
Maintains documented balanced scorecard and annual goals and focus on achieving these goals
executes, prioritizes, organizes, and accomplishes assigned work
demonstrates and applies Information Resources knowledge by keeping up-to-date technically and applies new knowledge to your job
completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership
verifies stakeholder technology needs are met
seeks to keep informed regarding technology partner activities and priorities
builds and maintains positive and effective relations with all the stakeholders
uses the ‘one team’ concept to build and maintain positive and effective relations with Property Associates, Regional IT, and technology partners
meets all IT technology partners servicing the property on a routine and ad hoc basis
verifies effective induction program for new associates or those in new or different roles
covers the cluster leader’s function during their absence
performs performance reviews on a timely basis and allocate sufficient time, research, and effort to ensure the process effectively benefits the development of associates
ensures adequate communication, training, and execution of all Talent development programs and related initiatives
develops a personal management style that brings positive results from associates
builds and maintains positive and effective relations with direct team members
maintains IT related inventory for the assigned properties/offices in cluster
manages backups and technology disaster recovery planning and execution
generates systems communications for property users to provide user tips, alert users of system problems, and inform staff of progress or status
monitors effective flow of issue management amongst Continent Support Desk, technology partners and cluster organizations
attends Bi-weekly Regional IT Calls
Requirements:
Hospitality Management or related education
awareness of global hospitality technology trends
experience in assignments at international locations
back of the house and guest facing operational and technical experience with hospitality management systems
minimum 1 year in an Associate Supervisory role
bachelor's degree level or equivalent and 1 year project management experience
solid technical knowledge on server and Active Directory architecture and security implementation
Windows Server Operating System and Active Directory
desktop operating IT and desktop management (GPO)
Outlook email and approved mobile devices
IT organization and resources available
LAN networks
understanding of the company’s technical standards and policies
