Job Description:

The Sr. IT Project Manager role at Citi entails coordinating across a team of PMs & PMOs to deliver projects in line with SDLC procedures, working on regulatory project portfolios, assisting project managers, and enforcing a culture of best practices. The applicant is expected to possess advanced project management experience, strong communication skills, stakeholder management ability, expertise with SDLC methodologies, and advanced analytical capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinate across a team of PMs & PMOs to ensure delivery of projects in accordance with Citi’s SDLC procedures
project coordination for several areas within regulatory projects portfolio
assist technology leads and project managers in managing a large portfolio of programs and projects
enforce a culture of SDLC best practices across the technology group
maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies and procedures
provide insightful financial and business analyses
develop senior management reports
define and track key operational/program metrics
create dashboards and scorecards
communicate issues, risks, and progress effectively
self-initiate and multitask across multiple projects
structure and present compelling recommendations.

Requirements:

10+ years of proven track record of PM Oversight or Program/Portfolio Management within the Technology, Banking or Consultancy industry
in-depth knowledge of Program and Project Management procedures
excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills
ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
ability to coach and mentor junior associates and coordinate with PMOs to deliver on program deadlines
experience managing senior stakeholder expectations
knowledge of SDLC methodologies
mix of analytical and problem-solving skills
proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
bachelor’s degree level or equivalent (technical/STEM subjects preferred)
PMP or similar project management certification preferred
ability to negotiate and influence all levels of stakeholders within the organization
exceptional organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice to have:

ability to create clear and compelling presentations to articulate complex concepts
presentation in forums such as Steering Committees or Operating Committees
proactive attitude
ability to collaborate with different teams
