Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in West Chester, Ohio. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records through detailed reconciliations and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in accounting systems and processes while contributing to a dynamic organization.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct comprehensive account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies efficiently
Complete bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate updates to records
Manage journal entries and maintain the general ledger with precision
Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and present financial data
Work with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial operations and reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:

Proven experience in account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entries
Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Experience managing month-end close processes effectively
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with accounting standards and best practices
Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with team members
