Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and conduct technical accounting research as needed
Execute general ledger activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and managing project-based invoicing
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, alongside preparation of financial and consolidation reports
Prepare and maintain reports related to revenue and expense recognition, including deferred revenue calculations, prepaids, and accruals
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, such as for fixed assets and inventory
Assist in evaluating and improving internal controls to enhance efficiency and uphold best practices
Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Manage all tax filings and reporting requirements, including sales and use taxes, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
a Master’s degree is preferred
Strong understanding of accounting regulations and technical accounting principles
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
High level of organizational ability, accuracy, and attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including extensive use of its advanced features
