Sr Tax Advisor

• Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities of Citi
• contributes to the planning, accounting, filing and reporting of tax liability of the company
• assists in compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements
• may participate in managing payments to tax authorities
• leads and manages a team of professionals
• regularly interacts with peers and regulators
• provides advice to internal clients
• manages a sub-infrastructure unit or specialist function
• acts as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders or team members
• ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• 6-10 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree, potentially Master’s degree
• focus on tax advisory to financial and investment products
• previous experience in tax advisory for financial institutions
• familiarity with industry discussions in associations such as ABBI, ANBIMA and FEBRABAN is a differential
• developed communication and diplomacy skills
• ability to manage teams
• ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
• comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within a function
• in-depth knowledge of the business impact of technical contributions.
