Job Description:

Baptist Health is hiring a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Agent to join the Coastal Community Health Supply Chain team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Researching and evaluating products based on quality, cost and patient outcomes/project deliverables
  • Analyzes price proposals, financial data, and other information needed to determine opportunity
  • Performs contract sourcing and analysis for presentation of initiative to the appropriate clinicians and value analysis committees throughout Coast Community Health
  • Prepares RFP and RFI's
  • Enters into negotiations with suppliers, reviewing terms and conditions of contract, and establish pricing
  • Monitors the contract performance and determine necessity for amendments, extensions and compliance by both vendor and CCH
  • Required travel between Coastal Affiliate locations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 years Purchasing Buyer Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Supply Chain Experience Required
  • Less than 1 year Purchasing Manager Experience Required
  • Less than 1 year Project Management Experience Required
  • Less than 1 year Contract Specialist Experience Required

  • Define and substantiate scope, identifying dependencies, and agreeing with stakeholders for Enterprise Data Use Case (UC) requirements
  • Document requirements for improving Retail Credit Risk, Wealth Risk, and Investment Risk data to support timely and effective Risk Management and Oversight
  • Lead the strategy, approach and automation of reporting, measurements, and analytics for all risk reports supporting the USPB and Wealth Risk CROs, Regulators, and Risk management
  • Work with the various project teams to ensure key milestones are achieved for each phase of the project including requirement documentation, UAT, production parallel and sustainability
  • Regularly and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, both verbally and written, the strategic vision of target state risk management strategy, as well as progress of path to strong effort
