Job Description:

As an SAP Project System (SAP PS) Consultant you are responsible for configuring, implementing, and optimizing project management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Configure and implement SAP Project System (PS)
  • Configuration of PS structures: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement planning, Project quotation, Time sheets, Goods issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS
  • Integrate SAP PS with other modules like FICO (Finance & Controlling), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning)
  • Configure cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting functionalities in SAP PS
  • Set up milestones, billing plans, and resource planning for projects
  • Manage project cost tracking, progress monitoring, and revenue recognition
  • Support project execution, monitoring, and period-end closing activities
  • Perform SAP PS master data maintenance (Project Profiles, Network Profiles, Cost Elements, etc)
  • Provide functional and technical expertise in SAP PS customization and enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with business processes, policies, and industry standards
  • Conduct user training and support for SAP PS end users and stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PS system issues by working with technical teams
  • Support SAP system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements related to SAP PS

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on SAP PS with 5-7 Years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of PS structures, cost planning, revenue recognition, and budgeting
  • Experience on complete PS module cycle from project creation to settlement
  • Strong expertise in configuring: WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), Networks, Milestones, and Activities
  • Expertise in Project budgeting, cost planning, forecasting
  • Hands on experience in Project Cash Flow and Investment Management
  • Experience in end-to-end implementations and support environments
  • Familiarity with SAP PS integration touchpoints with MM, SD, PP, FICO
