  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations that balance competitiveness, consistency, cost management, and employee experience
  • Manage compensation programs for existing subsidiaries, supporting local HR teams with salary structures, job mapping, and governance processes
  • Ensure subsidiaries’ compensation practices remain aligned with Uber’s philosophy, ranges, policies, and compliance standards
  • Monitor compensation trends and identify integration risks or misalignments over time, proposing corrective actions as necessary
  • Build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and templates used in M&A diligence and harmonization processes
  • Maintain documentation and repeatable processes to improve operational efficiency and scale compensation integration practices across transactions
  • Partner with Legal to ensure compliance with local labor regulations, pay equity requirements, and statutory obligations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, corporate finance, or consulting
  • experience supporting M&A transactions strongly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in data modeling and analysis tools (Excel/Google Sheets required)
  • Experience with compensation market data sources (Radford, Mercer, WTW, etc.)
  • Experience with job architecture frameworks
  • Prior experience conducting compensation due diligence or supporting integrations in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of compensation design principles, global market practices, and governance.
  • Ability to interpret complex compensation structures and synthesize them into concise, executive-ready insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Legal, and Corporate Development.
  • Exceptional analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to quantify and communicate the implications of compensation decisions.
  • A solutions-oriented approach and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced deal environments with shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for senior and executive audiences.
  • A commitment to harmonizing compensation practices in a way that supports Uber’s philosophy while managing cost, equity, and compliance.
