Sr. Associate Data Engineer

In this vital role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our data strategy. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of technical expertise and data-driven problem-solving skills. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building, and optimizing our data pipelines and platforms in a SAFE Agile product team. The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data engineering applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable data engineering solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team and learn from experienced engineers. You will be part of a team specifically focusing on enterprise resource management capabilities. Amgen is using fully integrated and best-in-class technologies, having various enterprise platforms such as Databricks and Mulesoft; enterprise collaboration platforms such as O365, SharePoint Online and MS Teams, as well as vertical-specific platforms in R&D, Operations, Process Development and Commercial/Marketing areas.
