Job Responsibility:
Build and Maintain at Scale: Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end solutions across HRSD,WSD and custom apps, ensuring our systems directly support how our global team moves and works
Navigate AI Frontiers: Deploy and tune Now Assist and Generative AI capabilities to drive self-service, making smart decisions with imperfect information to balance innovation with safety
Unblock Complex Journeys: Solve high-impact problems within Employee Onboarding and Lifecycle Events, often without a clear starting point, to create seamless transitions for every Uber employee
Champion Excellence: Lead technical workshops and conduct code reviews to ensure upgrade safety and architectural health, even when time is tight and stakes are high
Own the Integration: Build and maintain robust integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems like Oracle HCM and JIRA, owning the work from initial design to production debugging
Collaborate and Influence: Partner across HR, IT, and platform teams to ship practical solutions at speed, navigating internal complexity and stakeholder needs
Mentor and Grow: Raise the bar for the team by mentoring developers and leading the adoption of AI-powered developer tools to improve delivery speed and quality
Requirements:
8+ years of hands-on development and architecture experience on enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations
Proficiency in ServiceNow Employee Workflows, specifically HRSD (Case Management, Onboarding) and Workplace Service Delivery (WSD)
Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes)
Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications
Nice to have:
CIS - HRSD certification
Experience implementing ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB process for large enterprises
Experience governing "citizen development" by establishing guardrails and reusable components for low-code users
Experience using AI-powered tools (AI-assisted coding, debugging) within your daily engineering workflow
Background in mentoring mid-level engineers and leading technical initiatives across multiple teams
Systems thinking mindset with experience operating applications under strict security and compliance requirements
