Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. The role involves applications systems analysis, programming activities, and advising junior analysts.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
Act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members

Requirements:

2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
7+ years of programming Experience on core java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot
Reactive Programming like Project reactor or Reactive Java Good to have
Apache Ignite or any other distributed cache management knowledge
Excellent Knowledge on Cloud(Docker, Kubernetes, openshift)
Hands on experience on UI technologies like HTML, CSS, Angular2+, Ag-Grid framework
Comfortable around back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries
Good to have knowledge of CVE resolution using Black duck and Synk tool etc
DevOps and problem-oriented mind-set
Functional design, technical design and Programming of new projects, enhancements, maintenance and troubleshooting of application
Ability to observe and learn from data and design
Capability and intuition for Reverse engineering
Experience in system design based on given constraints and goals
Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration
Testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements
Extensive knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design
Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Nice to have:

Reactive Programming like Project reactor or Reactive Java
Knowledge of CVE resolution using Black duck and Synk tool
DevOps experience
Apache Ignite or distributed cache management expertise
