SQL Database Administrator

• Perform routine maintenance and optimization of SQL database servers to ensure high availability and reliability
• Diagnose and resolve database errors, performance issues, and system inefficiencies
• Develop and optimize queries to improve database scalability and operational efficiency
• Create and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and automated data processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and visualize data for business intelligence purposes
• Work alongside software developers to support Entity Framework-based applications and provide database expertise during development phases
• Ensure database systems are secure, properly backed up, and compliant with best practices
• Act as a key resource for the IT department, supporting database-related initiatives and troubleshooting
• Implement automation tools to streamline recurring database tasks and reporting processes

• Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator or in a similar database management role
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Excel, and Access
• Familiarity with Entity Framework and ability to collaborate with development teams
• Strong skills in query optimization, performance tuning, and database scalability
• Ability to translate business reporting needs into technical solutions
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
• Knowledge of database security and compliance best practices
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
