Job Description:

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the Borough of Merton is looking to recruit a Sports Coach for an ASAP start. This is a full-time, long-term post for the academic year. Responsibilities include working alongside the PE Lead, creating new ideas for the sports curriculum, delivering PE sessions, and supporting pupils with SEN in a creative and supportive school environment. There are plenty of professional development opportunities and potential to enroll in teacher training.

Job Responsibility:

Working alongside the PE Lead
creating new ideas around the sports curriculum
delivering all PE sessions
running after-school and lunchtime clubs
promoting healthy eating and living to pupils and staff
supporting pupils with SEN and behavior difficulties
working alongside teachers within the classroom to support pupils 1:1
allowing each child to complete the daily mile
working with KS3 and KS4 pupils

Requirements:

Outgoing, forward-thinking, and creative personality
willingness to learn and take on multiple roles
previous sports or coaching experience is desirable
