Our new colleague should be based in Eastern or Central Europe (preferably in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, or Croatia) and will support our customers in their data-driven decision-making by offering our portfolio of HPC solutions. We have defined HPC and AI infrastructure clients in the Central and Eastern European region as our target market. Focus areas of this role are pivotal for enterprises implementing AI, ML, big data analytics, and cloud computing solutions. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for technology and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions to diverse stakeholders. You will be working in a highly experienced, motivated and technologically well-trained team that is part of a leading technology company in this market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategies in the high-performance, AI, and quantum computing markets
  • Take full responsibility for annual order intake exceeding €20 million, and share responsibility for project revenue and profitability
  • Expand our extensive HPC, AI, and quantum business, especially in the public sector, and identify and acquire new customers in the industrial domain
  • Collaborate and coordinate with global HPC units on pre-sales activities, portfolio development, sales campaigns, marketing, events, global customers, reporting, and controlling
  • Build and establish operational and strategic partnerships with local technology partners and local branches of global partners to enhance competitive positioning, while maintaining and expanding a broad partner network
  • Oversee proposal processes and final offers, including customer-specific adaptations and cross-business unit elements, in alignment with responsible global and local units
  • Provide intensive customer engagement and acquisition across the entire HPC, AI, and quantum computing portfolio, especially at senior and top executive levels. Focus on building and expanding strong personal business relationships with decision-makers and top-level executives

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in selling complex technical solutions in HPC, AI, or quantum computing
  • Proven success in key account management and experience in selling to research institutions, universities, and large enterprises
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in closing complex, large-scale projects and contracts
  • Successful experience in international sales
  • Existing customer and partner network in the HPC/AI/Quantum space within Europe, with a focus on the mentioned regions and countries
  • Deep understanding of HPC/AI technologies, architectures, and applications
  • Knowledge of parallel data processing, storage solutions, and networking
  • understanding of scientific and technical applications combined with AI methods and machine learning
  • Passion for complex technical solutions and the ability to communicate them clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly enthusiastic about technology
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or a scientific discipline, ideally with additional business qualifications (e.g., MBA)
  • Fluent in English
