Job Description:

HammondCare Horsley is currently looking for Permanent Part time and Casual Specialised Carers to join the team in providing tailored care for residents, focusing on personal and dementia care. HammondCare is an independent Christian charity that has been serving families in Australia since 1932. This role involves working within a team to provide showering, grooming, life engagement, and other care tasks for elderly residents while creating a home-like environment.

Job Responsibility:

Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc
Provide life engagement
Support residents with levels of dementia
Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies

Requirements:

Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & want to make a difference in their lives
Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends
Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs
Applicants with Cert lll or Cert lV in Aged Care would be viewed favourably
