Job Description:

We’re looking for a hands-on Special Hazards Technician to inspect, service, and program clean agent and engineered fire suppression systems. Great opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Program, start up, and commission fire alarm and special hazards systems
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm & special hazards systems
  • Perform acceptance testing on newly installed systems
  • Complete inspection reports and service work orders accurately
  • Interpret NFPA codes (70, 72, 2001), fire/building codes, and technical documents
  • Read and apply construction drawings, specifications, and system designs
  • Conduct system surveys and assist with equipment ordering
  • Coordinate work with electricians, project managers, and field teams
  • Supervise or assist helper/apprentice technicians as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma + 2 years of related experience
  • NICET certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean MVR
  • Ability to work overtime/weekends when required
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
