Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant! A dedicated and vibrant school, committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. We cater for pupils aged 2 to 19 with a wide range of educational needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties (including profound and multiple needs), and Autism.
Job Responsibility:
Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils with diverse learning needs
Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of a differentiated and engaging curriculum
Helping to create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
Supporting pupils with personal care and mobility (where required)
Contributing to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with complex needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patience, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude
A commitment to maintaining high expectations for all pupils
