Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Job. Join an expanding special school in Slough dedicated to transforming the lives of pupils aged 2 to 19. We are seeking passionate and skilled TAs to join our vibrant team, including a crucial role in the development of our new satellite campus.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Extensive SEN experience in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven proficiency supporting a wide range of special educational needs, including: Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Needs (PMLD), Autism (ASC/ASD)
  • Patience, empathy, and genuine commitment to student progress
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Proactive approach and adaptability to changing educational environments
  • Understanding of various learning methodologies and behavioural support strategies
  • Strong background fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Proven experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant (essential)
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special needs support (highly advantageous)
